CoinEx Charity 2023 Annual Review: Education, far-reaching impact

In 2023, a year rife with escalating social tensions, nations across the globe were confronted with multifaceted challenges. The fight against global poverty has hit a standstill, with the World Bank’s latest report in 2023 estimating nearly 700 million people worldwide live in extreme poverty. Conditions in the poorest and most fragile countries have deteriorated even further than pre-pandemic levels.

Many countries face severe debt vulnerabilities, hindering their ability to tackle economic and social challenges. Increased vulnerabilities and conflicts around the world have intensified food insecurity, driving millions from their homes and placing the gravest survival challenges upon the poorest and most vulnerable. CoinEx Charity has steadfastly engaged in philanthropic efforts, aiding nations in adapting to an ever-changing world amidst these crises.

365 days, 12 countries, 2553 families received support

The year 2023 marked an important phase for CoinEx Charity as it stepped into a new chapter. Through a multimillion-dollar charity fund, we have assisted more than 20,000 students in 12 countries to return to school, continue their studies, and pursue their educational aspirations, achieving an outreach totaling over 15.5 million.

The CoinEx Charity team visited countries such as Cameroon, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, and Venezuela, spanning South America, Asia, and Africa. The social unrest in Indonesia has led to children living in landfills, in decrepit housing, and being deprived of education, yet their desire to learn remains undiminished. We also made our way to remote areas of Cameroon, observing firsthand the lack of infrastructure and teacher shortages in schools. In India, we witnessed children facing numerous challenges to attend school, displaying a voracious appetite for knowledge. These visits provided insights into the disparities in global education and further solidified CoinEx Charity’s resolve to continue its philanthropic efforts. We are convinced that our endeavors can create more opportunities for these disadvantaged groups, enabling education to brighten their futures.

“Dreams Come True” Charity

We believe that educational equity is not only a fundamental right for everyone but also a crucial factor in cultivating future elites. Everyone should have equal opportunities for high-quality education, as it not only influences individual development but also determines the prosperity and progress of society. CoinEx Charity delves deep into the field of education, promoting global education equity through sponsorship and donation programs.

In 2023, partnering with organizations such as Bunda Milenial and Educar+, CoinEx Charity initiated the “Dreams Come True” educational program to aid impoverished, out-of-school children. To empower vulnerable communities with this critical skill, we provided scholarships to more than 20,000 students.

Thanks to CoinEx Charity’s efforts, tens of thousands of students from impoverished backgrounds received backpacks, books, stationery, financial scholarships, and emotional support. Schools and educational institutions in poverty-stricken countries were furnished with essential donations like desks, chairs, teaching materials, and sports equipment. Additionally, the CoinEx Charity team facilitated repairs to school infrastructures, significantly enhancing the educational settings for many children.

Multimillion-Dollar Charity Fund

Since its establishment, CoinEx Charity has been dedicated to philanthropy, setting up a multimillion-dollar charity fund. The fund aims to provide global assistance, shelter, and long-term educational support to impoverished populations in conflict-affected and disaster-stricken areas. As of 2023, CoinEx Charity has implemented a series of projects across education, healthcare, disaster relief, and other fields through the charity fund. We work closely with global nonprofit partners to collectively provide effective support to more communities in need.

In the education sector, we strive to break the phenomenon of global educational inequality by sponsoring projects and donating to provide students in impoverished regions with tuition, books, and learning resources. Simultaneously, we focus on the healthcare sector, providing medical supplies and donations to children with illnesses. In disaster relief, we go to the frontlines of countries affected by floods, earthquakes, and other disasters, donating supplies and setting up temporary shelters for refugees. Through close collaboration with nonprofit partners, we have provided tangible assistance to more communities worldwide, working towards creating a more just and equal society.

Vision for 2024

The achievements in 2023 highlight the importance of educational equity. In 2024, CoinEx Charity will continue to uphold the principles of openness, transparency, and innovation, driving the continuous development of educational charitable initiatives. We will deepen charitable actions, expand into more philanthropic fields, and bring warmth and hope to more people. Notably, we will invest more philanthropic resources to lower barriers to cryptocurrency education, starting with free training opportunities and blockchain courses.
